The Tahitian Inn is a nicely updated, stylishly redecorated Florida hotel. The lobby, pool areas are very attractive. Close to Downtown Tampa and Raymond James Statdium. The room was large. The decor in the rooms was basic. I'd recommend the hotel when you want an affordible stay, but attactive and comfortable.

yucky rooms
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/28/05
I never got to see the spa, as is closed early on Sunday and that is when I arrived. What I did get to see was my room, which was on the first floor in an old concrete building. There were pizza delivery fliers waiting on the floor. It was musty, right next to the parking lot, and pretty old and dirty. Not the spa/fancy hotel I was expecting. The location was easy enough to get away from, but nowhere special on its own.
I go to the Tahitian Saturday and Sunday mornings for breakfast. Can't speak for the hotel rooms, but the breakfast is great. Omelets are cooked perfectly. Most of the time the service is great. Not a luxury spa resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/18/05
I selected the Tatitian Inn and Spa based on ratings by other travelers and the location. I was satisfied with the location, but was impressed with little else. Don't let the name fool you; this is not a spa resort hotel!! The check-in area is opulent and gives the impression that the rest of the hotel is the same. Not true! The hotel is ...

Best Hotel for Business travel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/22/04
While traveling to and from Chicago to Tampa, I stumbled on this great Family owned hotel. The Tahitian Inn has an exotic hotel theme that provides it's guest with excellent service. There are moderate price rooms located in the back section of the hotel and also executive rooms located in the front section of the hotel. This review is based on ...
