The room was small but clean. It was nice to have a balcony to sit on and enjoy the scenery. Our building was in the back and was very quiet. Having the city bus stop streetside was convenient in getting to Zion.We would not recommend the restaurant. My pancakes were as tough as leather and the coffee was luke warm. I asked the waitress for hot coffee and what she brought was not any warmer.

What are people talking about??
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/25/09
We have visited the Bumbleberry serveral times and the rooms are very nice and quite and the staff is very helpful and help in any way they can. The rooms are clean and in the middle of town close to all shops and cafe's. Rates are most reasonable in springdale. The only place to stay.
Staff tried but entire structure needs total, major updating and remodeling. The rooms were good sized but carpet worn, wallpaper loose in places, drapes partially off track, carpet worn. The hallways were dirty and it did not appear they were ever cleaned during our stay. There are other places in Springdale that would be a better choice. We did not stay as long as planned.
This place was dirty, hair on bathroom floor, dirt in hallway, dirty carpet, very outdated, light fixtures date from 1960's. Even after complainng, Manger remained rude and unfriendly, refused to give discount at first, then agreed to give 10% discount a night.

pass on this one

the owners were the most rude people that I had ever encountered at a motel. The place is old, the gift shop is half empty and run down, the bumbleberry pie is good but $6.00 per slice, and the resturant didn't open for breakfast until 8:00am. This motel is NOT the closest(to Zion) or the best in town, the only saving grace of the weekend was the Zion Park itself, any lesser expierence would have really made me mad about the Bumbleberry Inn.

Re-opened, better food, service not
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/14/08
Having been there for 30 years, the new western decor is very welcome and improved the tired old decor! Food is better too. However, the service was terribly slow, uncoordinated and half plates had apparently sat in back for 15 min. (read quite cold) waiting for others (3/14/08). Would wait at least a month until they get the bugs worked out. Bet it will be a staple restaurant again, and looks promising, but service is the issue.

the rooms were spacous priced right for the area fantastic views of zion shops close by resturant was very good food great and free shuttles to the park able to make reservations very easy and people very friendly planning on returning soon for another visit
We used on the online booking form to book with Bumbleberry and had some problems with this. Despite calling them and emails, when we arrived they had made our booking for the wrong month, with no free rooms. We ended up staying in Hurricane (10 miles away). I would advise anyone wanting to stay here to book over the phone and insist on a formal ...
There may be fancier places around but this one was clean and had the best location. The bathroom was tight. The scenery from the balcony was magnificent. Shuttle bus to Zion was at the parking lot entrance. Walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Coffee shop down the block had internet to get airline boarding passes. Enjoy a piece of pie.

WONDERFUL STAY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/05
We did not find anything wrong - had some noisy neighbors with children but that is all-the room was delightful and the playhouse terrific! We did get billed twice for the play on our credit card that I am trying to clear up
