I used to live 5 blocks from this hotel from 1998 - 2005. It was always clean, basic, and sufficient, with a great location. Things have changed.

I checked in and was tired from a cross country flight and flopped onto the bed. Within 30 minutes my itchy skin told me there were bed bugs. I jumped out of bed and took a hot shower, and planned to ask ...

The manager was absolutely wonderful and accommodating from the second we arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The short walk to the beach made relaxing easy and the complimentary chairs, towels, and boogie boards were a bonus. I just wish we had more time for the bikes.......but that will give us something to look forward to for the next time!

I've been here 3 times and my dad surprised me saying he was staying there this week again! He's not one to "change" often so he'll be coming here for years. Its very chill, not high maintenance style and an awesome location. It's very close to the beach and its well worth the price.

The Deluxe room was nicely designed, with extras like crown moulding, granite kitchen area and plantation-style shutters in the main living area. However, the bathroom was ancient and the room was only surace-clean. The bedding looked nice, but the cheap mattress cover rolled off every night, creating an uncomfortable sleep.

Great locaton, close to the beach. Our room was not large, (single) but with the beach so close, who wants to hang out in your room anyway. Staff was friendly. Free, clean beach towels every day. Rooms were clean. Staff were helpful. Wireless internet was not that great. I would definately stay there again next time we want to get away to the beach.

I liked it because of the proximity to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Definitively worth the price. Views of the ocean are really cool. Had a blast.

Management woos you with kindness while booking your reservation.when you arrive and question him about the cleanliness of the rooms and quoted prices he comes un glued.

The hotel is great. The standard room is small but it is worth what your paying for the location. Be prepared there is a hill you have to walk up on the way back to the hotel from the beach. Its not bad though. Just a little excercise. They have complimentary towels, bikes, beach chairs, and boogie boards. The water at the beach is very clean and ...

We had a booking for this motel in June. When we arrived, just in from Ireland, a very rude employee told us he had no room and asked us to leave. Yet the hotel charged our credit card the full amount, as if we had actually stayed in the motel, and have to date (three months later) refused to return the money.

I hope Hal never comes to Ireland. He's not welcome here!
