I stayed here last week. As a single woman traveler, felt safe. The room is all that I needed. Very clean. I was delighted to be able to leave my car and take the Street Bus (#22) into downtown.There are many nice cafe's and shops along El Camino to visit as well.Will visit Palo Alto more often now that I know of this wonderful motel. And the staff was wonderful.

We booked months in advance to ensure we had lodging for our son's graduation from Stanford. We were attracted by the close proximity to campus, the "luxurious accomodations" promised on the website, and the price.

Our room, while quite clean, reeked of disinfectant and featured well worn carpet and furnishings from a bygone era. ...

When we checked in they cheerfully told us that if you stay six nights the seventh is free. When we check out (a week later) there was no mention of this, we were charged for seven days, even when the last date on the receipt was marked FREE! Bottom line, read the receipt very carefully when you check out.
