We can't wait to go back, our 3 year old loved it!We were going to Mount Shasta and we picked this "hotel" because our 3 year old son is a train fanatic (Thomas the tank engine). He just LOVED the place, especially the refurbished cabooses, ours was clean and cozy. Amazing Place!This resort is by far the best place to stay in Dunsmuir or anywhere else around. Have been there several times and go and stay atleast twice a year while railfanning and just enjoying the outdoors. A place to have fun !!!A great little get away that has a little of everything for everybody IF you like the outdoors. Caste Craigs is looking right at you and a great place for hiking. The resort itself is clean, friendly people and pet friendly too! HAs a swimming pool with hotub that stays open all night if you keep it quite.

This place is a dive-DO NOT STAY HEREThe folks who run this place are very rude and unethical. We checked in for a two-night stay while on our homeymoon roadtrip, and were told that we were a week late and owed them for a no-show! If I had not grabbed the ticket out of the desk clerk's hand, they would have charged our credit card for the alleged no-show. We even had a letter ...Was this review helpful? Anyone can stay at the HiltonI just stayed one night, however, wish I could have stayed longer. The setting is very relaxing, the management are great, the area is wonderful and secluded, and they allow pets. A great value.Wonderful place. This wonderful park is located behind the Railroad Park Motel (railroad trains turned into beautiful motel rooms) The park was very clean quiet and the manager went out of his way to assist us. They have tent and RV spaces which are very affordable. There is a running stream on the property that is a must see and you can eat nearby at the Railroad Motel Restraunt.Was this review helpful?
