You can't beat the location you don't even have to get on the freeway to go to the Grand Canyon. The staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Sites were well kept. Hook ups were close to the side of the trailer you need them to be. Don't laugh, we've shown up to parks and the utilities were on the wrong side! Quiet and peaceful. I'd stay here again and recommend it to others.

First of all i would like to say staying at this halfway house was the worst experiance ive ever had.The couple that manages this place were very rude,two guys were obviously drunk breaking beer bottles in the parking lot , no police were called, only the next morning did i find out that the two drunks and the managers were related it says all over ...

This staff and owners of this motel were very unaccommodating to us. The rooms were dirty,stinky and the carpeting was wet from the toilet overflowing .That is what the room smelled like. When we asked for another room they said they were booked and then made no attempt to make the room better. Do not stay in this motel, sleep in your car if you have to!! It was horrible.

i loved sleeping in the caboose with my boys. they adore this place and we make it an annual trip because the owners are friendly, kind people and the motel is affordable but clean and in a perfectly quaint location in williams!!

Our little family just loved this place. We have stayed here twice now and it continues to get better and better. You must know that this Motel was built back in the 1940's so don't expect what you get in today's places. No elevators, long hallways, or parking far from your room. We stayed at this great little hotel in Sept 2003. It was a fantastic tie in to our Grand Canyon train trip. (the guy from Canada has probably confused this hotel's name with another property). I came to this forum to get the phone number to make reservations for this years trip. We can not wiat to get back to Williams AZ and would not consider any other Hotel. This place is just plain down home great.

I have traveled all over the world and stayed in all levels of lodging properties. This was just simply one of my favorities. I think some of the big chains should get some training from this staff of very special people. Very impressive

We stayed there this summer and it was great. The cabooses are very cool and the regular rooms are great as well. Very clean. Wonderful staff. Great fire pit. It is definetely a place I would choose to stay again.

All I have to say is, the guy from Canada has no IDEA what he is talking about, this place is the BEST!!! We have been once and made reservations to go back again for a getaway!!
