    went there for the pool way to hot in the pool area kids couldnt even swim in there the maids knock on the door early it was 930 am we wanted to sleep in it was our vacation very dissapointed !!!!!

    I have only once previously spent a night at a Hampton Inn, but my experience at the Effingham Inn was so positive that I will go out my way to do so in the future. Here's why:

    1) VERY prompt check in and check out

    2) The bathroom area was well laid out with a separate room for the sink from the bathroom. Shower had clear explanation ...

  • Nice Hotel

    This is a very nice hotel, as chocolate chip cookies await your arrival at the desk. The service was exceptional, as the front desk lady helped me find a movie theater and resturaunt. Also, the free breakfast was very good. Keep in mind though I paid a rate of $85, which I thought was pretty high, considering the number of hotels in the area. At $30 less I may try the Ramada next time.
