Newly Renovated and Fabulous!!!The hotel has recently undergone a $20 million dollar reno. All new hottel. New rooms, new hi speed wireless, new pillow top bedding even a new pool.OVERALL

Great Place! Great People!Lafayette Plaza is undergoing remodeling and upscaling. The accomodations are beautiful, tasteful and relaxing. The personnel at this hotel are the friendliest and most helpful of any hotel I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Newly Renovated and Fabulous!!!This hotel has undergone a complete renovation. Everything is brand new and just lovely. The lobby is generously appointed with immaculate new furniture, just right for hanging out or surfing the net with the hotels new wireless internet service.

Being remodeled wright now however great location.
We would stay there again.

The nastiest place I've ever sleptThe should tell people when they are having to remodel the place because of water damage. They should shut down while they finish fixing the place. There isn't enough room in this space to write down how bad it is. Never againNasty. Horrible service. Dirty rooms. Noisy. Worst of all UNSAFE.
Great location and when the dining room is open it has good food, but after seeing what the rooms look like, I won't eat there again. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.

Served a purpose very well.I liked the fact that this hotel offered a private parking lot, a free continental breakfast that varied day to day and was always hot.
It was a bit musty, but this was only weeks after Hurricane Ivan. They seemed to have cleaned up well and I never had to call down to the front desk for anything.

DONT EVEN BOOK IT!We booked a room and they charged our account 6 weeks in advance, and for the wrong amount, then we got no help in resolving the matter from the management.

Hopefully it gets betterThe location was convenient for what we needed. However the room wasn't very clean. There were hairs in the towels & in the tub. There were holes in the walls. There were holes in the sheets. The TV remote worked sometimes. They are in the process of renovating. There was a sign that Holiday Inn had taken them over.
