It was advertised as 4 star hotel. The lobby was the only place justified that rating. The room was tiny tiny, and interior and carpets were kind of run down. TV is old and flickering. Location wise, it is right next to Santo Domingo metro but not noisy at all. Convenient to Gra Via shops. For $88 a night, it is acceptable deal. I will take one star away from the rating though.

this hotel had every thing you need to try it. THere is really good food. I really liked that they allow pets. How many hotels allow pets?

Pros: Central to most sites. Can walk to most locations. Hotel staff mostly nice and helpful.

Hotel Santo Domingo was a pleasant surprise for our family. I just booked the room over the internet hoping I chose a clean hotel in a good location and I did! We could walk to many great spots, we felt safe, the hotel was clean and very reasonable. They helped arrange a taxi for us, spoke English, and were very friendly. In addition, it was one of the few hotels where we could sleep 3 people in one room. We would definitely go back.
