I loved the Bavaro PrincessThere was nothing I disliked Me and my girlfriend was there for our birthdays in 2008. I loved everything from the food to the room. I was there for seven days. It was very affordable for airfare, hotel and food included was a steal and the people was marvelous. VALUE is the key word... great for the $$$!!!!!Here is the deal with the resort. After reading through a lot of the negative reviews, I decided to tailor this review to those people who may have never travelled to the DR. Not a 5 star resortFirst room smelled of mold(over powering). Second room the single beds they brought for the children were soaking wet. Had problems getting extra blankets and pillows. Will ReturnRelaxing. If you are planning to hang at the beautiful beach everything is close by. There is a buffet & The Mcprincess for a quick snack. Main buffet has a good variety as everyday is a different type of food(ie asian) & they have a station that has some home comforts if you aren't feeling adventurous. Fantastic Holiday...we will be backWe had a great vacation and could not find anything we didnt like about the whole resort. The suites are clean and spacious.Easy access to the beach,main lobby,buffet and all other restaurants.The staff in every department were so friendly and helpful at all times. The swimming pools were always clean and weel maintained.

NEED TO RELAX? THIS IS IT.I went with 3 other friends for a girls week, just to relax and get out of pgh for awhile. I'm having a hard time believing that these negative people stayed at the same place as us.
