The brick hotel has gone down the tubes. This place used to be great. It has taken dining to an all new LOW. The service is terrible. The food is terrible. The ambiance is terrible. I hope that once the new owners run this place into the ground that they'll sell it to someone who can put it back together. It has a beautiful location, ...

Changed around

I went back to the Brick recently as I heard of new ownership and management. I must say the whole experience was great.
The food was excellent, esp the main course salmon. Apps were excellent too but the deserts were just ok.
Nice ambiance, esp in the garden. I would highly recommend this place
I made plans to bring 20 guests for Sunday Brunch- for my parents 60th anniversary. I made the plans ahead of time and it was suggested to me to have the brunch for the 2nd seating which was from 1:30 till 4. My first question was will it be the same as the moring seating, will they have enought food. I was quickly told that most definitely it will ...

I worked there, my first job, washing dishes in the early 80's. I'm a sucessful adult now, live on west coast. Class reunion 20 years later; I had to go there. 20 years ago, their food was generic (upper blue collar) steak & seafood. Now higher class, more varied menu. Good food. GREAT service. Staff gave me a tour when I told ...

Awesome Music Night
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/24/06
Old world setting with a twist. Flamingo style music with a flare. Servers with an attitude that the customer deserves to be treated as they should. Nothing goes unnoticed. A unique evening unlike any other we have been or have seen in a long time. Thanks for a most enjoyable Saturday evening. Eagerly awaiting the next!!!! See you at the Brick.

This place is amazing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/06/06
Great food (esp the Sunday Brunch) and ambiance. The service is unbeatable and the food is amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is around Newtown.
The hotel itself has beautiful and cozy rooms - definitely worth it for a romantic getaway or just a getaway in general.
I have not stayed in the rooms (but more on that later). The food, service, and ambiance is well among the best in Bucks County. The location represents the vortex of charming pre-revolutionary war Newtown, PA. Outside there are tasteful white xmass lights year round. All of the food and drinks are as great as you could ever want from the fresh ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/29/05
seem that the wait staff couldn't decide who was going to wait on us. after our order was taken the "other waiter/waitress came over to take our order. when our order was served, i asked for additional cocktail sauce. I had to tell 2 people to do this. the sauce never came.
