One of the best beachThe best thing about this resort is the beach...it is one of the best around, ie. long stretch, clean, comfortable...All rooms face the sea...not many hotels offer that..the price can be slightly reduce as the room is slightly old...but hotel is clean..when we were there, it was mostly quiet..we feel like in paradise..As it was near Kemaman, we ...5 of 5 Yahoo! Can't access 2 p.m twice!!Nice sea view. Room is OK actually. Not so bad. Location & overall condition is good. The MOST I HATE is I always need to wait to ckeck in. Fist time come, I arrive around 2.10pm. Need to wait for 40 minutes. 2nd time visit is worse!! I arrive around 3.10pm & they ask me to wait for 30 minutes more! My Godness, I'm tired with them. extremely poor serviceoverall ambience is very nice. Traditional Malay feel to it. However service was downright poor. We had to wait 45 mins just to check in. Only one staff out of 4 in the front office was working. The rest stood and watch. prefer other hotelsvery dusty,the room i got was too far from the lobby eventhough there are plenty of empty room nearby the lobby. the souvenier shop is just like school's bookshop. it is not worth staying at impiana with the rate you've been charge.You did not find this review helpful.3 of 4 Yahoo! I will not stay for second timeIf you like to feel the enviroment of malaysia traditional stay, Impiana will be one of your choices. However, the rate is too expensive which is not relevant to the service provided. You will get better stay with the same rate around that area. Dark drab dirtyI felt compelled to write this review after the unpleasent experience there. The concept for the resort is good: going ethnic like a malay village.
