We only stayed for one night on a horse racing tour but found the staff attentive and friendly. The full english breakfast was good and there was also a range of fruits and cereals available.
The rooms were spotlessly clean & well furnished with all that you would expect, tv, hairdryer, etc. Internet access is available in the lounge.
It is a 5-10 minute walk into town, uphill on the return but not too bad.
