I stayed at this motel with a group of friends.

We will not be going back.

The corridor smelled of smoke, the beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom was uninviting.

The ladies at the counter were slow and could not find our reservation.

It is true you get what you pay for. The motel has not been updated since the 60's. The A/C was difficult to work. The mattress was flimsy, I fell off while sitting on the edge and did not sleep well. The bathroom linolium was puke green, the counter was small. The walls were pulling apart at the corners. The interior was old, carpet was ...

It was very modest, but very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating! We needed extra pillows for a back problem. The a/c worked great and it had a good shower. I'll definitely stay there again if I'm in Mitchell! I would recommend it highly if you don't require added amenities like pool or kid stuff. Thanks for a wonderful surprise!

I made reservations for May 24 to May 26 and have not heard if the reservaitons were confirmed. I made a mistake the first time and didn't finish the reservations, but tried again. I would like to hear if they were confirmed. Please answer ASAP as we are leaving for other points in So Dak tomorrow morning.

Great staff - the manager was great - my girls went down several times, for popcorn, an extra pillow, etc. and he was very helpful, he even teased them a bit :)

Great price and the room was more than satisfactory.
