We stayed a total of 6 nights. Spent 4 days at the local attractions and spent the next 3 at the hotel. My wife enjoyed the spa and the kids enjoyed the pool and river. The hotel had just about everything we could have needed from the general store, to hot towels at the pool. My wife also was very pleased with the complimentary laundry. ...

Excellent Choice for Business Travel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/11/08
We had a group of over 50 stay less than a week for business in the Fall. Our group have avid golfers who really enjoyed the convenient golf course. We received much help with preparations for such a large group before the conference. They were stellar during the meeting days. Our employees had several favorable comments on the hotel. Many stayed ...

Nice, but not worth the money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/06/08
I usually stay at the Westin La Cantera, but this summer I decided to do something different for the family. Highlights- Fireworks show for the Fourth of July. Lowlights- $350 a night is a little steep for this place. I travel for business all across the US and I thought the landscaping was first rate, service was ok, rooms were ok, food was ok, ...
We visited with our kids and grandkids, a perfect place to take the younger kids, we found no reason to leave the hotel property. Club Hyatt for the youngsters was great, our granddaughter loved it, and wanted to spend every evening there. Food was excellent and priced well for what was available. Our only issue was the rooms were not ready when we arrived, but they called as at the pool area when the rooms were ready. Enjoy.

Poor attitude from desk staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/27/07
Although this is a beautiful resort and well appointed these positive attributes can not make up for desk staff that do not seem to care for the customer. I was treated better by the doorman and housekeeping than by the rest of the staff. I will take my business elsewhere; I can live without bells and whistles if I am treated well.
My favorite was the Lazy river. And the pool and river is open all day, so we got to go at 2am after we got done site seeing. the staff was really nice, everybody smiled at you and say Hi. I would recomend this ressort for any one.

I love the Wildflower Day Spa
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/07/06
I'm from San Antonio, and I absolutely love the Wildflower Spa. I had a wonderful facial as well as an awesome massage (swedish & deep tissue) and I felt like a princess. After my treatments, I lounged in the jacuzzi and in the sauna, which was very relaxing. This is a great time to go to the Wildflower Spa, especially on Sundays, since it's normally not as busy.

Enjoyed Every Minute of it!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/05
The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was awesome. We could practically get food anytime we wanted. The pool was clean and neat, and you didn't even have to leave the water to get a drink. We plan on making it a yearly retreat!!!
Very unique, fun place to stay as a couple or as a family. The weekend movie nights on the lawn, marshmallow roasts, lazy river, beach, and many other fun activities make it a great place to spend a little time away from home. Beautiful property inside and out, great restaurant, spa, can't wait to go back!

No Children? Beware!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/05
Nestled in a wooded section of northwest San Antonio across from SeaWorld lies the beautiful Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa. This hotel has all the makings of a great resort. Guests will delight in the palatable cuisine offered at the resorts numerous restaurants. Especially that of Antler's Lodge, the fine dining establishment where ...
