The service was wonderful! The spa and overnight room was just what I needed. We had a few choices on where to stay and was so happy we chose the Founders Inn and Spa. My husband never relaxed so much. We will definetly be returning and this time we will stay longer and bring our friends.

I loved the Founders Inn. I read some reviews saying decor is dated but it is colonial themed which may makes it appear dated. Service was wonderful. Swan Restaurant very good. Spa service was the best. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. There is even a little playground for children.

Place looks like it should be in Williamsburg, VA. Colonial like style. Service was top notch - waiters, bellmen, front desk, even people who cleaned our room. Although location is not at beach the service and amenities make up for it. I travel a great deal, and this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. This is the fourth time I have stayed at the Founders. It is better than all the other hotels in the area even the newer ones.

Overall a really nice experience. Check in went fine, a gentlemen brought all luggage to the room and showed us around the hotel. The room was clean and the beds were really comfortable. I cannot rave enough about my stay at the Founders Inn and Spa. From the minutes we arrived we were greated by the most hospitable staff. The room we stayed in was as comfortable as our own home. There was not a request that we asked for that was not accomodated above and beyond any of our expectations. I highly recommend anyone staying in the Virgina Beach area gives this place a try. We will be back again next year.

this place is just amazing i love the spa its beutiful and relaxing...i like the beds and its really comfortable...i can sleep all day in the bed....there is great room service.....i amd speechless of a great hotel.
