I liked the idea of a suite to wall off the kids, but the room is basically the same size as a normal hotel room only it has a wall down the middle....in other words it is cramped. You have to take 2 sets of elevators to get to your room (pain). It is away from most sites. They have poor service and then nickel and dime you into the price range of the much better suite hotels in SD.
the first suite we had was fithy, the carpet was so bad you could play connect the spots. the housekeeping supervisor was great she found us another suite on the same floor. I really can't say the same for the rest of the staff at the reservations desk we got locked out of our room 4 times. Then I get billed for the 5 days when it was already paid for @ checkout time by my daughter.

I can't believe that they want to charge you $22.00 a day for parking, especially having to go around and around and around in a bunch of circles just to get to the parking lot. For the money you pay and not receive a breakfast was unbelievable. To top that off, they want to charge $4.00 for a candy bar, $6.00 for a bottle of water, are they ...
The hotel is close to the Gaslamp District and Seaport Village. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Our rate included breakfast and a late checkout. The breakfast was good and it was nice to go sightseeing for the day before checking out. The parking was a bit crazy. You have to drive up to the top of the parking ...
We stayed for a couple of nights in September 2008.
Good: Location
Bad: Not much space to park temporarily in the front, exorbitant charges for parking ($22 self or $28 valet). Front desk staff is polite but the competence level varies greatly. The bathroom doors were old styled and not closing easily. One phone did not work.

If your a millionaire this is the place for you, if not, you'll totally hate it.
The room was good enough, besides our huge hole in the wall... i must say the bathroom was nice. I dont know about the beds because i was forced to sleep on the horrible pull out couch..
Everything cost extra, they put water bottles in the rooms, but there ...

Stayed here for a week with my sister, aunt and cousins. The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. Would stay here each time I visit. No complaints.
We stayed for the memorial weekend amd had a very enjoyable experience. Room was clean and we didn't have to pay the exorbiant parking fees (we were able to park on the street) $25. a night. All in all a very good experience.
Stayed here w/ the kids during March 2006 and would certainly recommend this hotel. The one-bedroom suite, while not huge, was certainly big enough for the 4 of us for sleeping. The room was clean with a small microwave and wet bar, a king bed and a pull-out sofa. The kids enjoyed the mediums-zied pool, too. The staff, including check-in and ...

One of the best hotel I ever stayed in.

Only issue was the parking facility...too cramped but the valet service is highly recommended. The room was very clean and everything worked. Bed was very comfortable and there were enough pillows. The desk staff was very polite and cheerful and service was great.
