  • Great for a Get-Away
    By summer, 02/24/09
My husband and I have stayed at Dunleith twice in the past year. It is a lovely experience! The staff is friendly, the amenities are wonderful and the scenery is simply wonderful. Spend the extra money and reserve a room in the main house. The rooms are extravagant and stepping out on the veranda is so enjoyable. In addition to the beautiful ...

  • Beware of their "guaranteed reservations"
    By Debbie, 11/02/08
We booked 2 rooms at the Dunleith in January 2008 for Oct. 24 and 25, 2008. Two weeks prior to our arrival they cancelled our "guaranteed reservations" for a wedding party. We had to spend hours trying to find someplace else to stay for both nights or cancel our vacation. Their guarantee should read, "Guaranteed reservation if we don't get a better offer."

  • A Romantic Place to Stay!
    By Mickeysue, 01/10/08
My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Dunleith. What a romantic place. We stayed in the General Lee, which was beautiful. We both enjoyed sitting on the rockers on the veranda with our morning coffee. It's conveniently close to downtown but far enough away that one can truly enjoy stepping back in time. The grounds are beautiful and we ...

The best place to stay in Natchez. Also has the best restaurant in town. There are few good places to eat in this lovely old city.

  • Definitely would Stay Again!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/18/07
My husband and I stayed for one night during a short visit to Natchez. We stayed in the wing area because the other rooms were already full on such a short notice.

It seemed small, but did have a full bed and a twin bed in it with plenty of room to walk around and get dressed. The bathroom was quite large and had plenty of light. The TV was very ...

  • The best plantation in Natchez
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/30/07
This is the only plantation in Natchez that actually allows guests to stay in the main house. All of the other plantations in Natchez have rooms that are not in the actual plantation. Wonderful plantation!!!!

  • Dunleith is the top of our list for Natchez
    By Ken, 08/14/06
There was no comparison between Dunleith and any other location we'd ever stayed in including the luxury hotels we stayed at on our honeymoon!

The 1800's charm is dripping all over the grounds and the rooms - reviewers are right to suggest that the rooms in the main house - particulary the four on the second floor (the 400 series of room ...

  • Beautiful, awesome place
    By Amy, 07/10/05
I loved this place the second I walked into it. Talk about feeling like you are really living in those times. I stayed in the main house on the second floor. The room wasn't very big, but it didn't matter because right outside the door was the front porch of the plantation. My family and I spend the most time out on the porch because it ...
