My boyfriend and I went to Kuramathi on a last minute whim in May 2005. We got a great deal to the Village staying in a beach bungalow. When we got there we were told there was building work going on in the Village and so we were upgraded to a beach bungalow in Kuramathi Blue Lagoon. Liked: beautiful snorkelling on the outer side of the island, nice sandy beach facing the lagoon,
good value of the gym (15$ per week)-includes also a swimming pool, a jacuzzi and a tennis court otherwise unavailable.
Very interesting Marine Life center with inlightening evening lectures on coral population of the Atoll.
Disliked:rather poor ...

We arrived by seaplane to this bit of paradise after a long journey from Scotland via Singapore, in Sept 2004! We were hoping for beautiful beaches, quiet days & nights with good facilities...and we got it all. The spa treatments soon got rid of any travel stress & relaxed us to the point of comatose! Our waterbungalow had the works...gorgeous ...
