We came down with 10 people because Cancun was hit by the hurricane. We didn't know what to expect because we had been going to Cancun for 12 years. All of us loved Ixtapa!!!! We also really enjoyed our stay at the Radisson. All the staff were very nice. The rooms were clean, we had no ants and the room didn't smell. We had the all ...

A perfect birthday
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/18/06
I loved this place. I went with my friend and her family in February for vacation. It also happened to be over my birthday. For my birthday the staff surprised me with a birthda cake and sung happy birthday to me. That along with playing tequila volleyball made my stay memorable. My experience there was so much fun I have planned another trip with my family in March of 2007.

Horrible Customer Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/18/06
The Radisson Ixtapa can be summarized like this: horrible customer service!
First, all residents are required to wear a hotel wrist band. If you cut it off for some reason or another, the staff makes you jump through hula hoops in order to get another one. In addition, if any of your outside friends enter the hotel lobby, the hotel staff ...

fantastic vacation at the wonderful hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/13/06
we just returned from Ixtapa after 10 days at the Radisson Hotel.
The staff is the best I have ever seen, hotel clean, nice rooms-there is a funny smell in the bathrooms, but easily resolved with a can of Oust!!
The food was very good; they really attempted to give you a variety. We did the all inclusive and it was well worth it. Great ...

Would not go back to this hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/30/05
We were a group of twelve people that were displaced from Cancun due to the hurricane "Emily". We had trouble with our rooms due to lights not working, beds being dirty&wet, remotes missing. They did rectify the situation by giving us other rooms. We had trouble with housekeeping since they were sporadic cleaning them daily. The employees ...

The grounds of the hotel are kept clean and staff will acknowledge you by saying, "Hello", but as soon as you get into your room you~ will notice a very bad smell. Heating and Air conditioning vents are covered with mold. Bathroom walls and shower curtains have mold on them. Rooms need to be updated. When asked to change rooms, they ...

Will not go there again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/30/04
We spent the holidays at the property. The rooms were in terrible shape and the beds were rock hard---I can't understand how anyone can make a mattress that hard. The pool area layout is nice, but they need new new mats for the chairs and an update is necessary. Would not stay there again.
