As soon as we arrived to the airport and picked up our rental, we were on our way to Kihei, As soon as we got there the Front desk was very friendly and we got to get some information on the local food places and activites. Our room was Partial Ocean view One bedroom Condo. the pool area was nice and plenty of room for both couplesand family. But ...

the place was very convienent and the staff outstanding recomomded for all from young to old. during our stay we made friends with several nice people .very enjoyable ,a 10.
As long as you do that, (which I learned on these reviews!), your place and stay will be excellent.
It's a great place, well worth the money. Right across from a nice park, overooking the ocean. Had an awesome time there...
Our room was modernized, everything was clean and worked...

Good place, good location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/06
Staff was very helpful for all kinds of questions. The beach across the street was so-so, but it was close to the beaches of Wailea, without being as expensive. Also great food nearby (go to Sunset Mixed Plate for a great deal - they're back off S. Kihei Rd, so there doesn't seem to be much business, but portions are big...) and the units ...

Kam Sands is still the best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/06
Kam Sands condos are each privately owned so the quality of decor and contents varies widely, although when I was there in March they had a new manager, who is trying hard to change that. Travel agents get different rooms. If you find a room you like, ask for it again. Some owners live in their condos so they are really nice - others dont care ...

Nice hotel on the beach
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/05/06
The rooms were large and the hotel was across the street from a great beach. Nice location. The air conditioning system had to work hard to cool the room.
This is great place to make a base on Maui, if your staying around the West or South side of Maui. Its within walking of a great beach. Most units have a great view of either the garden, or the ocean, (if your on the upeer floors that is). The elevators are slow and noisy. The conndos are full service with complete kitchens and bath rooms. Our ...

Nice location

We stayed 6 nights in Bld 10-402. The condo was nice with a few exceptions. The floors and bannister to the 2nd floor were filthy (dirty) with black gunk everywhere. The bathroom towels needed replaced with new ones. The towels smelled like mildew and even after 3 trips in the washing machine, the smell never disappeared. The condo was self ...
