My room smelled like mold. It was a beautiful room, but within 30 minutes I had a headache, my chest hurt and I had to find a different room. They put me in another room, that didn't smell so bad, but it still was slightly moldy. I am allergic to mold, so I always can tell if it's there.

My room looked out at the golf course and Lake Ford. I felt like I had escaped to a resort rather than merely staying at a corporate hotel. The conseige lounge was probably the best I have experience. Great snacks and a truly lovely decor. I would definitely stay at this hotel when I am in the Ann Arbor area again.

For the money, you would expect to check in ON TIME not an hour later (4pm), have at least complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning, pool was ice cold and no microwave or fridge in your room. In fairness, here's the good points to consider: Friendly staff, good business center with 3 nice computers to use at your leisure and nice hotel decor.

The site is beauttiful, however I would not recommend planning a wedding here. The situation is too long for a review, but in short- we went through two wedding coordinators- we were promised we would be working with both. My wife and I spent two nights, 5-7 and 5-8-08 at this location. When we started to get into the bed we found the cover sheet for the mattress, insideout, spotted, and hair on it. It was obvious it had not been changed from the prior guest. Room service was called and the sheet was changed with a promise that we would also get clean sheets the next morning, which did not happen.

After reading some of the reviews, I was skeptical. However, upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by a door man and the front desk. The lobby looked like sometihng that belonged in an Ikea catalog - modern colors and furniture. The desk clerk said that the hotel had just been renovated - and it was amazing.

We had the romance package, our room had a great view. Food was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Would stay there again.
