I travel through Sumter,SC quite often and this is the best hotel in the area hands down. The staff is just great, the rooms are always clean, the location is in the middle of everything and breakfast is great! I would never stay at a different hotel in Sumter,SC!

We were very surprised to find our accomodations clean, fresh and updated. The bed was very comfortable, pillows clean and fresh and the maid service was wonderful. One of the few hotels in the Sumter area that would accept pets. (for a $50 one time pet fee) Ended up staying for 7 nights, while moving into the Sumter area. It was an average hotel, but probably the best hotel that you can get in Sumter. Continental breakfast was very plain with little variety.

Pros: accepts pets, somewhat friendly staff

Cons: breakfast closed too early at 9am, not much variety in food.

i have traveled back in forth to sumter several times and this is one of two hotels i stay in. its comfy, clean and has a decent breakfast. i would stay here again if i returned.

Being a Marriott property I expected a better hotel. The hotel is conveniently located to Shaw AFB and restaurants. For $60.00 it was a fair price. The lobby and dining area is nice and updated. Reading the online review for the hotel is what impressed me; however, when I arrived at the room I was disappointed by the room size. Everything was packed into the small room.
