First off the shuttle was not offered and was not free. We paid $55 US dollars to be taken to the airport on departure. When we arrived we had to get our own taxi, that costs! No wash clothes in the bath& no place to store clothes except the makeshift closet. Not much help in getting directions for transportation or giving best way to reach ...

rooms were clean and big for Europe. The front desk did answer our questions but were not very nice in doing so, it was like pulling teeth. Location was pretty far from everything but they did have a shuttle to the Vatican. make sure to book the shuttle a day before. Get familiar with the metro train, much easier but a 15 minute walk away. overall, a below average experience.

This was a very nice hotel, with nice ammenities and absolutely amazing coffee!!! My only complaint would have been the location. It is very close to the Vatican, but not to the other big sites. I stayed here my first visit to Rome and I got lost a few times walking to and from different places.

Staying at the Grand Hotel Tiberio was a relaxing and wonderful experience. The help we received from the desk staff and the restaurant staff was exceptional. Without their help and guidance our stay would have been much less enjoyable.

My stay at Grand Hotel Tiberio was outstanding. The service was great and the rooms were nice, clean, and roomy. The hotel is located right outside of the center of Rome, so walking or taking a short cab ride into the city is possible and extremely easy. If given the opportunity, I would definitely stay here again.
