I recently stayed at the Viera at Montelago Village. These are condos that are owned by individual owners managed by Intrawest. While it has many of the hotel amenities, it also had a cozy feel of a condo with a full kitchen. We had water view. The staff was very helpful at the front desk.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a business convention and thought it was a beautiful, clean resort with great service but overpriced and boring. They have a little village with a casino, shops and restaurants but 1/2 of them were not open. It was July and hot but this place was dead and I felt like the people attending the convention ...

Came for seminar that required casual business dress, but luggage was lost. I should have packed extra carry on , but did not. From east coast so was lacking on sleep but to make long story short, one of the employees from the Ritz overheard me telling of my "woes" of lost luggage and took it upon herself to solve problem. I was not ...

Never Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/07
Me and my wife stayed there recently for our 25th anniversary. Our experience with this hotel will be our last. We had problems throught our entire stay. The walls in the room are paper thin and you could hear kids screaming, dogs barking, and everything else. We ordered room service, it took about 45minutes to be delivered and when it did it was ...

The Best!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/18/07
We were traveling from Los Angeles to Deer Valley, Utah by car at the last minute. I knew I'd need a stop over so I went to a discount travel site and found this not knowing what to expect. Once we got there, I really didn't want to leave! We were met by our personal concierge and the service was beyond any expectations I had(and I have ...
This was by far the nicest hotel in the Las Vegas area. Lake Las Vegas is a bit out of the way, but it is worth it. It's quiet, luxurious, and a wonderful place to relax. It's still close enough to the strip to have fun. The staff at the Ritz were all extremely helpful and polite. They provided complimentary cold, bottled water and also ...

A great experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/23/06
The Ritz-Carlton had just what we were looking for. This place is far away from the Las Vegas strip, with great service and a very relaxing atmosphere. The setting is great with the village and its shops. The lake provided added entertainment. We rented a car that allowed us to wander around the area which really improved our stay. Choose the Club ...

The beauty, surroundings, service and comforting relaxation offered here is some of the best that I have ever experienced. Not once but twice. Will definitely return again and again.

Hooray for Henderson!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/06
Yes,many people think that Lake Las Vegas is in Las Vegas. However, it is in the City of Henderson. Away from the hectic streets of the Las Vegas strip. It is an eclectic distraction from everything that Vegas is. Granted you have to pass old Henderson to get to the facility, but it is well worth the trip. It's an oasis of beauty in a desert ...

Disappointing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/03/06
If you're looking for a Vegas experience, this isn't it. 15 miles east of the strip, the 7 miles ride along Leake Meade Boulevard gives no hint of the luxurious resort awaiting you...$14 tire shops, cheap live-in motels, etc. If they want to attract people with bucks, they need to do something to cleanup up the neighborhood!
