Terrible customer service here. Bad communication. Hotel Check in attendant was absolutely rude. When we asked about a upgrade to a better bathroom. She hit one button and said no. She actually rolled her eyes. Fire alarm went off at 3:00 am we had to find out from other guests that it was safe to go back to our room. No one from the Hotel ...
To start off, anyone who stays here is stupid. We payed $25 a day for valet parking only to be robbed by the valet service. Apparently they thing that a bunch of women are stupid enough to believe someone broke the lock on our vehicle. There's no way possible to get in the vehicle we have that way without an alarm being set off. We had a GPS ...
From the moment I got there management was rude and unfriendly. They went out of their way to not be helpful with any little thing that came up and to look bothered and irritated with any request for even the most basic amenities. At every corner they were just....unhelpful. I'll even go so far as to say that they came close to ruining the trip ...

Convenient to Convention Center
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/09/08
This hotel was comfortble as far as the rooms but found the bar and dining very high priced. Asked it there was anything close we could walk to for breakfast and we were told, no, we would need to go by car and then we found a place a couple of blocks from the hotel. Did not feel they were forthcoming with us. Convenient to the convention center. ...
My wife and I stayed at this hotel after I found online that it was the only hotel with more than three stars that allowed dogs (at no additional charge, even!). The room was very clean and the people at the front desk were extremely helpful.
The one thing worth noting about the Westin Charlotte is that a number of things that are typically ...
The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Our room had stains on the walls and the bed spread. We could hear everything in the hallway, people getting off elevator, etc. The management was very rude, and we were charged $75 dollars when we had to check out a day early to go home to a family emergency. If you stay here make sure you ...

we saw the carolina tar heel men's basketball team!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/26/08
while we were at the westin for tremaine dance competition, the 2005 carolina men's basketball team was staying at the hotel. my father rode in the elevator with the coach, Roy Williams and 3 other players. It was a very exciting dance competition!!
I enjoyed my stay - clean room, good service and very accessible. I didn't enjoy - sleeping next to the elevators and listening to them all night, paying $10 per night for internet and having download speed of 53kbps all evening, and paying $16 for parking.
Was a good stay except for internet and noise. Will look elsewhere if I need to come back to this area. Other hotels in the area that would be worth checking out.

be prepared to be nickel and dimed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/21/07
great location but for about $200/night they charge you for every little thing possible. $10 for internet here $20 for parking there, $5 to work out. That was ridiculous.

Wonderful.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/07
I was thrilled to stay at the Westin after a miserable experience at The Blake. (Be sure to look up those reviews for a laugh.) Literally, on the five-minute drive there from The Blake, I was on the phone with Westin customer service, booking a room. By some miracle, they managed to get me a non-smoking, king room at a great price.
