This was a perfect place my family since we are travelling under budget. Their rooms are really clean and nice pool and spa for a bonus. I would go here everytime I am in san diego

I normally stay at Best westerns but decided to save some money and try the Super 8. This one had a great landscape, super friendly staff and great clean rooms. I mean I wasn't looking for luxury hotel so I got a great deal for my money, clean room, friendly staff and great price. Definately would go back to this hotel.

The front desk staff were mostly rude and inefficient but the rooms are surprisingly nice.

This is the type of hotel that you check into and then drive to your room and enter from the outside. It was a little noisy outside at first, but not bad during the night.

Contemporary look inside, not bad at all. Matches the price. Anything is better than staying downtown San Diego!

I made a reservation 5 months ago for this hotel since I stayed last year for Comic con, for this years comic con. I called yesterday to verify the price and they said I canceled the reservation which I never did and now are booked and I was pretty much out of luck. The manager was suppose to call me back but never did! Very unproffesional. SO now we have no room with almost all hotels booked that week!

I stayed here in 1981 and it is much the same. No fancy stuff I don't want, just a basic motel. Close to public transportation. San Diego has the best public transportation in the world. Leave your car parked.
Excellent American family restaurant - Kieth's - two blocks away. Quiet area. Used to be a big Navy party area, but not since the late 80's.
Pay less than half what other motels charge for the same value.

I stayed here while attending a conference. The hotel is an easy, short drive to the conference center. It is also in walking distance of the red trolley which will take you just about anywhere of interest in San Diego. The free wireless internet was hassle-free and high band-width. There is a small fridge and microwave in the room.

We made a reservation online and were not sure what to expect..Cause pictures can be deceiving but when we got here we were surprised.This is a beutifully landscaped hotel.The front desk staff was very helpful..they went out of their way to find us directions to places we wanted to visit.We were supposed to stay in San Diego for 2 nights.. instead we ended up staying 4 nights... I would recommend this place to all my friends.

When I first booked the hotel, I wasn't sure what type of area or the hotel this would be. But let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised to see a small, beautifully manicured hotel. The landscaping is nice to wake up to. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I shopped around when I booked this place and I definately got my moneys worth. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to San Diego.
