Excellent - the service, cleanliness & appearance is far superior to any other hotel/inn in Gettysburg - and we've tried them all. Very convenient to both in-town attractions and the battlefield. Very highly recommend.

The Hotel and staff where great! The parking was not,and the beds where a little small.All in all, I would recomend this Hotel for a great stay in GettysBurg.
no common areas. Great service though. Not sure I'd go back because at night you had to park in a lot off an alley, and it didn't feel safe if you had to walk it alone. Also, for the price, I'd expect at least a place to sit and have a cup of coffee. The room had only a small table and two chairs, so with four of us there, only two ...

We've stayed at the James Getty several times and have never been disappointed. The coffee, tea and muffins placed in your suite for breakfast is a nice touch. Staff is also friendly, courteous, and professional. We love the hotel and would continue to stay there on our Gettysburg visits.

I enjoy the way you are taken care of from the time you arrive untill you leave.The rooms are all suites,very accomadating you fell like your home in a comfortable way.It's not the stuffy nose up in the air kind of place,more like a place you want to hang your hat.
