location, location, locationIt is right across the street from Peninsula State Park and within easy walking distance of lots of shops in "downtown" Fish Creek. Fish Creek is nicely centrally located for trips to other parts of Door County, as well.

Best place to stay in Door County!We loved this place! Came up to Door County Labor Day weekend with the family to get away. Was able to get a great room at a great price right in Fish Creek.

Most Excellent!This is a lovely establishment that is nestled amongst pine and birch trees. We were there for a friends wedding this past weekend and we couldn't have been more pleased. The motel was booked except for a double queen on the second floor which the clerk gave us for a reduced rate with the understanding we would move to a smaller room on the ground floor for day two. We Will Never Go Back, NO Good!The description was very misleading, and the price was high. The rooms are very outdated and cheap. I was in the honey moon suite, I would not consider this a suite;it was very cramped and in no way plush. third visit-great!!Once again a great stay at Applecreek. This is the best value hotel-- pool, large rooms and an excellent location. We were able to walk to restaurants, parks and shops. Nice place to stay, will be back next summer.We stayed in a double/queen room on the second floor. The room was spacious, clean, bright and cheery. The room included a refrigerator and microwave. The balcony (which had a table and charis) faced the back yard, so we had a nice view of trees and grass. It was peacful, quiet, and the staff was friendly. Coming back Fall FestivalWe were given the name of this resort by friends who were getting married in Door County. The location was great cause the spare time we had not spending on wedding stuff we were able to walk or bike to everything in town. The pool was great warm and wonderful for swimming morning laps.
