I ahve stayed at all the major hotels in downtown OKC over the past few years. I don't know what has happened at the Renaissance but it it BY FAR the best hotel in downtown OKC. The staff is truly amazing. I know for sure you will not find a better staff. I ate in the hotel Restuarant 10 North Grille on several occasions and each meals was ...
Do not pay cash for your room service at this hotel! If you must, GET A RECEIPT! Do not let the staff tell you that they cannot give you a copy of the receipt because they need it to close out. They are lying. They will tell you that a copy of the receipt can be provided at checkout, but when the time comes, no one can find any record. I am ...
I stayed here twice now, I would say it is one of the nicest hotels in Oklahoma.

Going Back in Oct to Renaissance
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/28/08
My husband and I were in Ok City just for a relaxing trip. We rode the train from Fort Worth...the station is close enough to walk to the hotel....but still the hotel was quiet at night...cannot hear the trains if any came by.
The check-in people along with the other staff were very friendly and helpful.
I've stayed at this hotel three times in the past year and I'm never disappointed. I've used the valet parking and they're efficient & friendly. I've had breakfast and dinner for 'room service' and they never fail to please! Also, you can walk to the FORD center from here, which makes it extremely convenient.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/03/07
Stayed at this hotel this past weekend while visiting my brother (he's the sous chef at the hotel) The hotel is beautiful! The rooms were very nice and clean, I have never slept on a more comfortable bed! The staff is super friendly and ready to serve. It's a great location, plenty to see and do. Lots to see within walking distance but ...

Not That Great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/08/07
For this place to be rated so highly I was disapointed. Here's my list of pro's/cons:
Pro's: Location, friendly staff
Con's: Internet is $12.95 a night, no microwave in room, no usable refridgerator in the room (you have to call down to the front desk to have them unlock your fridge?), homeless people are abundant and sleep ...

Excellent hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/26/06
My current employer booked a room for me at the Renaissance OKC when I flew in for my job interview last year. I was unsure what I'd find in OKC, but this hotel was an oasis on the plains. The hotel is very nice, with good service and is quite clean and well maintained. The lobby has a large atrium and surrounding it are the restaurant, bar, ...

Not a real 4 diamond, 5 star hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/24/06
To the average Oklahoma folk, this hotel might be great. However, for those of us that have stayed at real 4 diamond resorts (Ritz-Carlton, Bellagio, Hotel du Pont), the Renaissance looks more like a Holiday Inn. Staff was okay, housekeeping did not arrive until 5:30 PM, the following morning housekeeping was very loud outside our door and the ...
