The online reservation does NOT workIf there was a ZERO rating I would have given that. I booked the hotel using orbits for 2 nights 2 months in advance ... called the hotel 2 days before the trip to confirm and they said they were sold out on one day and i have reservation for just one day. Not Swank, But AdequateI've stayed in some of the best hotels in NYC on a corporate dime and this is not one of them. It is not swank and it does not make you feel like a million bucks when you step in it. There's no doorman and the complimentary toiletries are not made in France.

A hotel is for sleeping anywayI've been to NY a handful of times before, all on my company's dime. This is the hotel I choose on my modest budget and it was okay. The location was fabulous and the hotel's best asset, besides the staff.

Loved every minute!I have no idea what these people are talking about! Loved it!I've been reading some of the reviews from people here and honestly don't understand what they are talking about. It certainly doesn't sound like the hotel that i've been staying in.

Not The Best-Good For The MoneyWe stayed here because of a reccomendation from friends and also the price. The rooms where large and very clean. The bellman was very friendly and so was the frontdesk staff. We did not eat at the restaraunt because we wanted to experience NY. There were some problems. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else!The room was the size of a matchbox and the bedding was from 1980. The pillows were flat. The water was cold- night and morning. The rooms were not stocked with iron & board. You have to ask the front desk and they only have a couple. Nice budget stopoverI had one night stay only with my wife and a daughter. This was presumably the lowest decent hotel fare I could get in the Manhattan after a wide search over internet. OK place, just ok...About $480.00 total for 3 nights. Arrived at checkin (3:00), didn't have room ready. No washcloths, no coffeepot, no iron or ironingboard. The nighttime desk attendant seemed very nice and helpful. The comp breakfast items consisted of coffee, packaged dounuts, and rolls. Horrifying Experience - Don't Stay Here!We planned to stay for 2 nights and ended up leaving at 4 AM the 2nd night when our toilet broke and the only person on staff handed us a plunger and a bucket and told us it was our problem. There is NO security and few amenities, so if you do stay here, do so at your own peril! Also, everytime you leave the hotel, you're required to hand over your room key, so be warned.1 of 1 Yahoo!
