THE HOTEL IS SITUATED RIGHT ON THE EDGE OF THE TOWN THEREFORE NICE AND QUIET BUT YET AN EASY WALK INTO ALBERT. IT WAS VERY CLEAN WITH VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFULL STAFF.THE RESTAURANT WAS EXCELLENT. ON OUR FIRST TRIP TO THE SOMME WE COULD NOT HAVE WISHED FOR ANYTHING MORE. ONE SLIGHT DRAWBACK....THE FRENCH WINE WAS TOO EXPENSIVE. THANKYOU JEAN-CHRISTOPH AND CO.

Just one word of advice - Avoid!.
Bad hotel run by the most unfriendly and arrogant owners. Suggest Hotel Basilica or Hotel de la Paix to stay in Albert, anywhere but here unles you like being abused and ripped off.
Menu is dreadful and very overpriced, the bar looks great, but the price pays for it. Feel sorry for the staff, no guests equals no job, but at least now we know why there were no guests.

We won't go back!

If customer service and a friendly face are an important part of your enjoyment of a stay in this hotel then don't go here! Rude staff, no tea/coffee making facilities in rooms, breakfast not included in price, no atmosphere (I doubt any guest would return).
The only thing it has in its favour is that it is close to the WW1 battlefields, but other hotels and B&B's are friendlier and better value.
