the hotel was clean and easy to access md anderson. I wish they had a program to help with room rates. That would be excellent when you are on a fixed budget for multiple night stays in houston several times a year. No free internet service there, you must pay a one time fee to acess their wireless network.
Newly renovated, they have a kitchenette and free wireless Internet, good proximity to MD Anderson which was the purpose of our visit. They also have a complimentary shuttle that ran hourly to the hospitals and the grocery store, which ran behind schedule at times. comfortable but not clean

The room was moderately clean when we arrived, but the carpet was stained, the bath mat frayed and the cooktop and one of the telephones broken. Mildew in the shower was disconcerting. Their new, unmentioned policy is that they only make up the rooms once every 4 days, though they will give you extra towels at the front desk. I would not stay here unless the room rate was less than $30 a night.

We had the opportunity to stay at the Wellesly Inn several times due to my daughter's drs and hospital visits at M. D. Anderson Hospital. Ann and Kyle are the greatest. We keep going back because of them.
