This hotel is extremely well priced and offers free wi-fi. However, housekeeping is offered on a limited basis and there were a lot of roaches. This ultimately ruined the overall experience for me.

Our air conditioning was not working and it was 110 degrees in the room all night. the TV had awful reception and the movie system is a pain.

The staff was amazing, from the beginning. the came up twice to try and solve the AC problem, but they could only do so much. They credited us for the night, which was appreciated.

It's a little off the beaten path but provides quiet comfortable surroundings. Dinning is 5 minutes away or you can cook in the room. The price is right.

The rooms were very clean even the bathrooms! It was great that the front part of the suite could be closed off from the bedroom.

We got a great deal on a suite at the Homestead in Brea. It was right on the main drag, but not in a crazy-busy area. The manager who greeted me knew my name and was quick and polite. There is a sandwich/ice cream shop right next door! We felt very welcomed and well taken care of. This was the perfect "home base" from which to have our California adventures! Plus, it was a relatively short drive back to LAX.
