Fox Lake Motel is now under new management and the new owners are constantly remodeling all the rooms and doing all sorts of upgrades! The people there are nice. We have a nice clean room with good service. The value would get a 4/5 because the time it does everything isnt great. The location i believe is perfect although as its almost right in the middle of everything there is to do in town.

The place is pathetic, dark, dank & dreary. From the outside it looks like it meets the criteria for 1/2 hourly rentals. Only one thing missing, a beer drinking drunk leaning against the building!

I called a week in advance and held a reservation with my credit card. I had to cancel the reservation, and was told they never take reservations. First come first serve only. He had no record of me or my card number. Now I have to watch the card very carefully.

this place was very very bad. It was not clean in about a month the sheet had hair on them. The bathroom had piss all over the walls. It is the worst olace I every walk in to.I did not stay more them 2 mins. They would not give me my money back so I call my cc company and they did not pay them. Dont every stay there.

We always bring a tons of food wherever we go for vacation. At first time we have arrived, the manager gladly provided us with the second refregirator. The family suits with jacuzzi are amazing and the price is very reasonable. We have been coming here regularly from spring 2006 and we always notice some improvements. The rooms are really nice and clean. We highly recomend Fox Lake Motel !!!
