While The Venetian is a beautiful facility with large, comfortable rooms, and if you're on the on the right side of the hotel you get a gorgeous view of the mountains, it is not a place I will ever recommend or visit again!! I have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels and don't remember ever experiencing a visit like I just had.

The property and staff are first class. If there is a problem which is rare, it is taken care of immediately! When the weather is bad, you can enjoy the shopping and restaurants inside the mall. The ceiling is painted like clouds and the lights change to mimic the outside. The strolling minstrels and gondola ride are a nice treat. Did I mention the many restaurants have different cuisine and delicious!!

The rooms were great. We stayed in the palazzio. Got massage, and they helped find a show to go to. They wouldn't give us a late check out though, also had to change rooms cause they gave us the wrong room at first so my lady was late for her massage. but the kids enjoyed it!

The Venetian is being negatively impacted by the rush to open the resort in the Near East and the Palazzo. It a resort employee made a mistake in your reservation or anything else, you can be sure that, even if you eye witnesses to the mistake, you will not be believed nor will any effort be made to compensate you for whatever costs you incurred ...

I don't know where to start. My room wasn't ready for me until 9:30PM. Then, it took 45 minutes to get my bag delivered from where it had been stored - and I had to BE IN THE ROOM to call for my bag as they said they couldn't just drop it off. Phone hold times for the front desk often reached 5+ minutes. They forgot my wake-up call ...

Overall I loved everything about the Venetian ambiance and room, which for the money, was pure luxury all the way. Great property! The rooms are the best! Can't remember the restaurant name, but located next to the casino, food was to die for!Wire enjoyed Canyon Ranch Spa. Was there the week of new Palazzo opening.Bumped into Emeril and Malto Mario in Palazzo atrium at the opening ceremonies. Will most definetly try the Venetians sister, Palazzo on next trip.
