We checked in and was asked if we wanted to upgrade to the newly remodeled section of the hotel. Of course. Bad decision! The plumbing girgled and burped throughout the night. We requested a room change. They accomodated our request, but did not provide enough beds for our entire party (2 adults & 2 kids). We did not realize this until it ...

Noise Level
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/17/07
Handsome rooms but you can hear exterior noise even in the most permium suites. I was unable to get a nights rest because of noise in hallways, doors slaming, water pipes in walls. We were moved into three different premium suites yet there was always noise. Plenty of flash but not really a luxury hotel by a long shot. Don't expect any ...

Venetian is the top of my list.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/07
We loved everything about the Venetian. The staff was very courtious and helpful. Our favorite restaurant is Zefferino's. We have stayed in other Vegas top hotels but we would come back without a second thought.I wish I was there right now.

gondola ride
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/07
The hotel was a great place to see, but not stay. DEFINITELY thought the gondola ride was ridiculously short, going only an estimated 150 yards at a cost of $50 per couple!!!!! (and that's if you share your ride with another couple!) That takes away from the feeling of romance, for sure. There is nothing to see, either. You just float around in the little tiny pond in front of the hotel, next to the strip.
My stay was exceptional to most hotels I have stayed. The staff was attentive, and responsive to my need. I believe a little more attention to customer needs and anticipation of those would make them and excellent five star hotel on a consistant basics. I would stay there again when I am in town.

Great Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/10/07
We had a great time and would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is rather pricey per night, but worth it. It is centrally located on the strip.

Trying calling again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/07
On a road trip we decided to see Vegas for the first time. Approx. 5 hours out of Vegas we called the Venetian to see about availability and rates for 4 nights (Sun.Mon.Tues. and Wed.) and was told $179. for Sun and Mon then $219.00 for Tues and back to $179 for Wed.
We decided to check around (had read where it's wise to call back, ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/07
THE VENETIAN IS ALWAYS CLEAN. THE SUITES ARE SO VERY BEAUTIFUL. THE BEDS ARE LIKE SLEEPING ON A CLOUD. THE BATHROOMS ARE SO SPACIOUS THAT TWO PEOPLE CAN GET READY AT THE SOME TIME AND NOT RUN INTO EACH OTHER! FOOD IS WONDERFUL IN ALL RESTURANTS AND CAFES. WE HAVE DINED AT ALL THE RESTURANTS AND EACH WAS A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE--MY FAVORITE WAS ...

THE BEST IN VEGAS!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/07
My husband and I stayed at the Venetian this July (2007) for 3 nights. We splurged and stayed in the Venezia Tower. I can not say enough about how well we were treated. From the concierge staff to the wait staff in the lounge. Our room was always cleaned in a timely manner. By the way, nothing was ever missing! One thing that bothers me is ...
