I work in Charlotte often and this is my preferred hotel in the area. Not a fancy hotel by any means but the rooms are clean, affordable, and the staff is very friendly.

I booked this hotel through expedia so I thought everything was taken care of. When I arrived they were unaware that I brough my two small dogs along. I don't typically send in survey's but this stay warranted a response. I think this room was left over from the 70's - it was severely outdated and needed some major improvements. I was meeting a friend from out of town and was quite embarassed at these accomodations.

We stayed here in June 2006. We reserved a non-smoking room and all of the rooms around us were non-smoking too. Someone in the room next to us began smoking (you could smell it in the hallway) and as a result our room smelled like cigarette smoke so badly that when we got home everything we took on the trip smelled like cigarette smoke.
