Entering the BCC was like stepping into another world and time. It is an oasis for travelers with its fascinating architecture, many public rooms and two enchanting courtyard gardens. The furnishings in the room were unique--even a drop-front writing table! The walk-in closet was a room in itself. The bed linens were gorgeous--new and luxurious. ...

Charming airy place. Cool stone in fake Moorish style (built 1927). Bit flakey as a consequence (like too hot to touch radiators). Colonial feeling. Beautiful from the inside (lower floors), but fairly ordinary rooms, however with excellent views across to the Golden Gate. Like going back in time. Not everyone's taste, but I loved it.
