Its Not New York or LondonHualapai Lodge is the best lodging for 70 miles in this part of Arizona. I travel Indian Country a lot. It is far better than Duck Valley's Floating Feather Lodge, the Wagon Wheel Inn at Round Valley, the Keams at Hopi, etc. This is a jumpoff spot for the trip to Supai, a rafting trip with the Hualapai Tribe, camping on the reservation, or ...12 of 12 Yahoo! Great overall experienceI went on the River runners rafting trip which is guided by the Hualapai (Wala-pie) tribe.
The rooms are better than a Quality inn but slightly less than a Courtyard. They have a pool and spa along with a reasonably priced restaurant which serves really decent food. The lobby looks cheap and dark, but don’t let that fool you.

Duh...I find it amusing that some of the reviewers are complaining about the service in Native American hotels/restaurants. Not to pigeonhole an entire people, but in general, I have found that NA establishments really don't go out of their way to kiss your butt. This is totally fine.

Bad!!!!!!!Service is not good, but it could be worse. The average wait their in the restaurnat is about 45 mins. Front dest staff have the attitude of a bull. They don't care and are unwilling to assist. I was ignored by the attented until she got off the phone. The rooms are clean. go with the flowFront desk staff are incredibly unhelpful especially if you ask about Supai which is a different tribe's village. Some of the staff in the dining room are able to provide the information you need for the hike in to Supai. HORRIABLE EXPERIANCEThe Hootel rooms were clean and the pool and fitness room we enjoyed as well.
The service was awfull! The people at the front desk at times were rude. The restaurant that was pretty awfull, we had to wait forever for our food, and also to be waited on. The Manager was jut RUDE and not helpfull at all. I won't come back untill that Manager is GONE!
