Hualapai Lodge is the best lodging for 70 miles in this part of Arizona. I travel Indian Country a lot. It is far better than Duck Valley's Floating Feather Lodge, the Wagon Wheel Inn at Round Valley, the Keams at Hopi, etc. This is a jumpoff spot for the trip to Supai, a rafting trip with the Hualapai Tribe, camping on the reservation, or ...

I went on the River runners rafting trip which is guided by the Hualapai (Wala-pie) tribe.

we love the friendliness of the whole place. we did the river trip also the most fun in one day i have ever had thank-you from michigan . the hensleys
Service is not good, but it could be worse. The average wait their in the restaurnat is about 45 mins. Front dest staff have the attitude of a bull. They don't care and are unwilling to assist. I was ignored by the attented until she got off the phone. The rooms are clean. Overall I would say that if I was taking another trip to Supai agian I'd stay at the parking lot.

The other review is correct re the service in the restaurant : it is slow and erratic and confused so just bring a book, ...
