Urine all over the commode

There was yellow and orange urine stains on the base of the commode, that had been there so long that dust had accumulated on top of the stains. I complained the next morning, when I noticed the stains. The front desk said I should have check the room when I first arrived and that I had stayed the night, so, whatever! From the front desk staff's welcome, to the friendly courteous maid service, to the welcoming tasty complimentary morning breakfast, I can't say enough good about this place. At first it seems like the best place to stay. But if you have a problem, only the manager can decide something. Whatever you do, do not use a debit card here. My last stay cost me double. Double the charge and double talk. When I questioned the charge I was told the manager would call me back, when the manager did not call back, I called. They ...

Absolutely one of the best places on the coast. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was new. The place was deadly quiet, despite being so close to the street. Breakfast was all you could ask for. The bed and its linens were fresh and huge pillows. I will never stay anywhere else in the area.

I have made annual trips to Rockport for fishing in April and September and we always stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The location is great for fishing with guides who launch from the public beach area which is across the street. It is easily accessed from the main road (35) and is within walking distance of plenty of good resturants. Very clean and great price. You cant beat the free continential breakfast...hot and fresh! A+++
