I own a vacation home in Lake Lure and make a point every time I am there to visit La Strada. The atmosphere is unbelievable. If you sit out on the patio you are overlooking the Lake and it is an amazing view. their service is always consistent and very good.The food is deliciuos!! I especially like the Italian Sausage Penne Pasta. They have seperated them selves from chains by offering signature dishes of their own.

Our waitress gave the impression she wished she was anywhere else. There were 5 of us. We all ordered something different but everything looked the same; too much sauce & cheese.

Dining at La Strada was a great experience for our party of 6. We had an assortment from the menu and all was good but the Italian entrees were the best. It is definitely a place to go to while you are in the area.

Billy & I love to take 'day trips' and one of our favorite has become the NC mountains. Stay on the hwy past Chimney Rock and you will come upon LaStrada Restaurant. Sitting high on the hill. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, but if the weather is nice sit outside on the patio. Order a drink and one of their awesome pizza's and sit back and take in the sites. You won't regret the stop!
