I was having trouble getting a reciept after my stay and had to call accounting a handful of times. the staff at the front counter was rude and very condesending. The girl with the high pitched voice does not know her job very well either. The rooms are nice but stay away from the counter. I stay there for work frequently but might reconsider because I dont want to contribute to paychecks of the undeserving.
I got a smokin deal on a room here for two nights on a Friday and Saturday via Priceline.com. (About $40 a night) The rate card in the room said $600 a night. For someone of meager means, this was paradise on a dime. Great view, ALL the amenities, clean, super deep tub, big comfy bed, separate bedroom, decent breakfast. I didn't want to leave.... EVER. I would go back in a heart beat.

It was my first trip to lv We were very happy with our accomodation. Very clean and comfy.Only downside was the pool was freezing. Will stay again and recommend.
I love this place!!!!! I typically stay at Ceasars Palace when I go to vegas but this time I was staying w/ a large group and needed something w/ a lot of space. This place was fantastic it exceede my expectations. JUST AS nice as Caesars especially for the price!!!

Wish I had discovered Desert Rose years ago
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/08
Over the past 10 years I have stayed at many resorts in Las Vegas. Sometimes with collegues sometimes with wife and friends. Out of the several resorts I have stayed at which include Alladin, Mardi Gras, Excaliber, etc. Desert Rose tops the bill for service, friendliness and comfort. You might think that would be enough - but no they even throw in a free breakfast.10/10 from me. Alan H Audley.

Very Pleased

Overall we loved the stay at this hotel, everything was excellent. The only minor faulter was that the master bathroom was very small. I will be going back for my third stay.
We stayed at the Desert Rose for a week in mid-October (17 to 23). Having read many reviews, some pro, some con, we went into the week with an open mind. To say the least, we were totally satisfied.
The location is a little bit of a walk to the strip (about 2 normal city blocks, Vegas blocks tend to be a bit over average), but the walk is good ...
