The hotel staff were kind and helpful. The room was cozy (small) and well designed. We were in the room for about 5 minutes when one of the staff rang making sure the room was what we were expecting and gave an extension to call if we needed anything. There was a TV and video game controller/games for the kids and kids at heart. The alarm clock ...

Okay but not a good value.

Traveling from Florida to Coronado, CA.. It was adequate for our needs but overpriced. The pool and fitness areas were not open during our visit. It's more of a party hotel than a family hotel.

Very close to the bars and stadium, walked to stadium and mall. Overall worth it to pay 150.00 which would end up being higher for a taxi to and from hotel to bars and eateries...
The room was overpriced and poorly appointed. The sheets were thin and of poor quality. The staff was rude and we had to pay to park. I was told that I had to move the car by 8 am b/c they were paving. I have two kids so that was a hassle and I ended up getting a parking ticket and they did not even start paving until 10 am. Yet they still charged me to park. Did I mention, that I think I brought home bed bag. Never again.

Greatest Hotel Ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/07/07
Ive been in a few hotels in my time for a few late nighters with the mistress but I have to tell you, this hotel is by far the best for a one night stand. The staff was excellent and very, very understanding. And the people who vacant the hotel were nice and very open. Even though we were warned about noise complaints for the first hour, I still enjoyed this hotel. Great Price, Great People, Great Fun!!!

This place is the place to be!!! If u wanna party in the gaslamp district and stay up to all hours this is the hotel to be at. I just used this place as somewhere to sleep and pregame....i would stay again, great place.
My fiance and I booked a room for one night since we were attending a concert nearby. The location was a huge deciding factor for us. We were grateful we were allowed to check in early; since it was so hot and humid outside we were looking forward to relaxing in our cool room. First off, Comfort Inn charges you $14 for parking, once that lot is ...

I would stay again!

This hotel was great. It was affordable and in a great location. The room was filled with surprising little amenities such as a mini fridge, microwave and a comfy comforter (unlike most hotels). The bed was very comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful. My only complaint would be the street noise. I will definetly come back!
It was better than I had expected, the room was super clean and comfortable. The only negative I have to say is the room we had faced the street which was noisy.
Would definitely go back, thanks.

Good location - that's it

If you're going to Petco Park, this is an ideal place to stay for proximity only - but be warned. The hotel does not have sufficient on-site parking so if you don't get a space (for which apparently you have to get there a few days before your reservation), you will be made to park, for the same rate, at an open overflow lot, right on the ...
