I didn't mind the train whistle blowing loudly shaking the room all the hours of the night, but then again I grew up near the tracks. What I did mind was the lousy attitude of the owner/manager. She was by far one of the rudest people I have met. They gave me one price when checking in and tried to charge me more when leaving, saying that ...
This Quality Inn not only has the WORST location on the planet, because it is located directly across from an active railroad that runs all night and is extremely loud, the staff could not be more unhospitable. I will not visit again. The room was very dusty and outdated.
The manager Kala Wolhoy is very, very rude along with the rest of the worthless staff. The room was dirty - the towels were disgusting - and there is a train that runs ALL night long. If you want to experience the worst night of your life, you should stay here.
This place was horrible for countless reasons - loud train all hours of the night, VERY rude staff, disgusting stained towels, stingy and RUDE housekeeping, plumbing problems, cable was out half the time, internet didn't work 90% of the time and this place cost over $80/night - ridiculous!! Save yourself and stay anywhere else - I wouldn't stay here again if someone paid me!

$95 a night way too expensive for what you get. Manager accused my fiance and I of stealing towels and only reluctantly gave us an apology once proven wrong, do not approve of checking rooms before returning desposit, I have never stayed in a hotel with this policy. Will never stay here again and do not reccommend anybody else staying here unless you just have money to throw away.
Located in bad part of town. Lobby and breakfast area had a fowl odor. You must sign a waiver that you understand the hotel is located on a train track. Trains go by every few minutes day and night. Hot water was scarce and it sounded like a jackhammer when you took a shower. They treat you like a second class citizen and count the towels ...
Do not stay at this property. It is located directly across from an active grade crossing. I stayed there and was regularly awakend by very loud train whistles all night. By morning, I felt exhausted and unrested. This place is a good one to stay away from.

The assistant manger was terrible. She yelled at my 70 year old mom on the phone for no reason. My mom booked room for a wedding online. A few hours later she got a phone call that they didn't have any more non smoking rooms left so they would give us the better room at the price we booked at. A few days later a very high strung woman ...
As a business traveler, I travel 200+ days a year. The staff at Quality Inn of Ashland were exceptional. The Owner provided me with authentic Indian Cuisine, took special care of my room during my 45 day stay, and even provided for laundry service at rates cheaper than any drop off laundry. It should be noted that the patriarch of the family was ...
The cost for the room was to much for the location. The staff warns you about the train tracks being so close. I've stayed there twice in the past year, six months apart, and the advertised swimming pool was closed by the health departmend both times. I would think the problem could be resolved in that space of time.
