Had a terrible experience here!!! NIce architecture, beautiful building. ... NO HOT WATER!!! Got 10 minutes of hot water and that was it. Even the Motel 6 has hot water. Called the front desk and was told that they have small water heaters and we would have to wait for it to reheat or transfer to another room. THEY DOWNGRADED US to a smaller ...
The cost for parking was expensive, the cleanliness of the room was substandard (stains on the ceiling, window blinds bent and dirty, etc) for this star level, the hotel required a $75 deposit for "amenities" that they said may take up to two weeks to get back into your account. Basically, I go online to look for good values but a hotel ...
I loved this hotel. The cost was quite reasonable (especially for the mid-town area), the staff was helpful and polite, the suite was enormous and clean, bed was FABULOUS, nice pool and sundeck on the roof, and you're sitting directly across from the Fox Theater. Not bad at all. Definitely will be back.

Absolutely terrible customer service

I stayed at the Georgian Terrace in August 09 and was incredibly disappointed with almost everything about the hotel. I had been really excited about going with my boyfriend who had never been to Atl and raved for weeks about the nice hotel we would stay in. First, which I notice to be a common theme in these reviews, was the parking. 22$ a ...

Worst customer service in Atlanta. Try to cancel your reservation... good luck!!!!
The entire time I was at the GT, I kept thinking of Dicken's Great Expectations, and old Miss Haversham and her dilapidated estate, the moldy residue of bygone eleganace. This hotel has an elegant past, and is in transition, but the service needs a great deal of attention.
There are two distinct classes of rooms at the GT. All are large, a ...
My partner and I stayed there for 5 nights this month. We were impressed as soon as we checked in -- they upgraded us to a suite, which was beautiful, clean and luxurious! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome (since it was our first time in the city). One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had -highly recommended!
They take your credit card and make a copy at check in. At check out - well this was my very recent experience - they inform you of any charges. In my case it was one extra item: 5 dollars, and this was correct. I get home, happen to check my credit card online to make a payment, the hotel has charged me a hundred dollars. Some mistake I thought, ...
We stayed for the 1st time on 2/3/09. The following morning there was NO hot water to shower - I had to check out without a shower!! They said someone was coming to look - nobody ever showed up. Then, they charged my credit card TWICE for our stay!! I called and added my girlfriend's name to the reservation so she could check in if needed - ...
