There is a half-inch gap at the base of the sliding wood doors to the bungalows. All sorts of nasty critters find their way underneath. Our room was overrun with ants and other bugs. It was so bad that we wouldn't turn the lights on near our bed to keep them away.

We were University students on vacation to see wildlife and relax. This hotel is located on the end of Playa Tamarindo, giving it an almost private feel. 4 great nights,great buffet breakfast came with our stay,
local fruits etc. we loved the pool area bar and pool. It was the rainy season we will return for dry and rainy again.

What I like or deslike about this place? Well the only thing that I like it about it, was the location, the rest...I mean...the service was poor, the food, ... everything was awful. I will never come back there, was a terrible experience.

I've stayed at the Capitan Suizo multiple times. I adore this hotel.
The rooms are lovely, the grounds are beautiful and you can see the beach from the pool.
As a travel agent I often recommend this hotel to other travelers.
