I enjoyed my stay at Cassidy's. It was easily spotted as I was coming into Dublin off the airport bus. It was close to a hop-on-hop-off tour bus. Small rooms, but little more was needed. Cassidy's was an easy and safe walk after being out at night too. I just wish that my second set of reservations would have been here instead of where I ended up later in the week!

Disapointing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/01/06
I had read great things about this hotel but dont believe the hype! It's quite shabby and in need of a spruce up. Our lock on the door didnt work and despite asking reception 3 times in 2 days it was never repaired. Staff here are uninterested and unfriendly. The location is just ok. It's a the top end of O'Connell street - rather rough and a good walk to most of the attractions. It was very very overpriced too. I wiontr go back.

Good choice!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/22/05
Cassidy's hotel was within a 20 minute leisurely walk, over River Liffey, to main shopping area (and there are loads of shops!)
We found the hotel to be an excellent choice as it was reasonably priced, clean, had a warm, attractive bar which stayed open for residents until 1am and had an extensive menu (food we sampled was very good). The ...

Great Location

Amazing free breakfast every morning, not to mention fabulous dinner (one of the best dining experiences in town). Rooms are a little small but it's a great location, right in the thick of things!

A good base for exploring Dublin
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/13/05
Cassidy's is an ideal budget stay in the centre Dublin. The restuarant is very nice and the food is lovely, although the menu doesn't change from day to day which can get quite boring.
Rooms are comfortable and well designed though unfortunately our room smelt strongly of cigarettes and this smell did not disappear even when we aired ...

Can't wait to go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/10/05
The staff were very welcoming, efficient and helpful, even offering to hold our luggage for the day after we checked out in the morning! The room was very clean, and beds were confortable, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. We felt that this was really great value for money and look forward to our next stay there.
