Everything else was tolerable but the staff was one of the worst I've ever seen in comparison to ANY type of customer service. Everytime you tried to ask them something it's like you're bothering them. Just returned from Saturday night stay at Excelsior. Expensive, but there's no way around that in Manhattan.

Location was perfect for our plans -- children's museum, natural history museum, concert in Central Park.

Room was in great shape. Hotel staff was terrific. We were able to check in early on Saturday and store our bags until we were ready to leave the city Sunday. Hotel breakfast was delicious.
