The front desk staff was barely friendly. As soon as we opened our room door we smelled mildew. The room was small. Played slots and all the tables and didnt win a dime. The hot tub jets didnt work. To top everything off, when leaving we were in the cab and realized we left our camera in the chair in our room. We checked out at 7 am so nobody ...

the most horrible hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/09
I stayed there for two nights, ech night they charge me $179. for that price, my room smells mold, I called to the front desk, then they told me all the room smell like mold, they come to spread some air freshner, which smell so stincky, and cheap, that I almost want to omit. It's the most horrible hotel that i have ever lived, not worth at all. I will not come back again that's for sure

Great Place for Cruisers
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/12/08
We stayed at this hotel because of it's close proximity to the cruise ships. We were cruising on Carnival, so it was a very short walk from the hotel to the ship. No need to take a taxi at all! Upon arriving there was no line at the front desk, yet the two women working just ignored us for several minutes. One was chatting personally with a ...

Enjoyable stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/08/08
We arrived late at night and were given a nice room with partial view and balcony. Very clean and comfortable. There were two other couples with us and both of their rooms were very nice also. On our return from our cruise we stayed two more nights. Two of the rooms they gave us on the second stay only had a view of the parking lot. We both ...

Wonderful experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/10/08
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with a family of four. The staff at the door quickly greeted us and help us with the luggages. At the desk the person was excellent and very helpful. The best thing about this hotel is that everything is very close. Walking to El Morro was the best thing. The restaurants around the area are also good. Over all my experience at the Sheraton was wonderful. I would go back.

Great Times in Old San Juan
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/07
Arrived with a family of 4, from the moment we got there we were treated very well. I did not use the valet, instead parked the car 1 block down at the public garage (this will save you about $18.00 a day). The Bellmen were very helpful, they unloaded all the luggage and were helpful when they brought it up to the room. Front Desk service was ...

Lost Their Chance
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/07
We actually didn't get to stay there at all! But I can give a review of my first impression which was horrible! I had called prior to arriving at the hotel to get a price quote (we were willing to splurge for some nights on a really nice hotel). When we arrived, there was over $150 in 'taxes' tacked on to the price I was given over ...

Good location, poor service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/18/07
Room service had to try twice to get my orders right, not to mention both days the wake up service didn't ring my room. Instead someone came around 20 minutes late and banged on my door to get up.
There was nothing special about the Sheraton. We spent a night before our cruise and were disappointed. We still needed to take a cab over the RCC dock on the other side of the harbor. The service in the bar/hotel was below average. No smiles, we seemed to be more of an inconvience then a paying customer.

Good location for shopping
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/29/07
We stayed at the Sheraton 3 nights. I wanted to be close to shopping and we were. There was not a lot of extras at this hotel, but for $109 a night through Hotwire compared to $280 a night, it worked. The room was clean, we didn't really have a view of anything, but that was not a big deal for us. We arrived at 3 p.m. and had no problem with ...
